Summary

52 km extension of Tehran’s Metro Line1 toward south including 6 stations starting from shahed station parallel to Behesht-e-Zahra Boulevard toward west up to Tehran-Qom freeway and turning toward west at the chainage of 25000 enters the Imam Khomeini Airport zone. Inside the airport zone the railway moves parallel to the internal highway which connects the Qom and Saveh freeways and after crossing the freeway and old road of Saveh reaches the new town of Parand.
The contract of this project (PC type) had been awarded to Sepasad Group.

- One of the longest urban railways as long as 52 kms.
- Including the largest and most prominent metro station in the country (Intl Trade fair & I.k.Airport)
- Including the largest airport bridge in the country as long as 700ms.
